Ingredients:
1 c. water
3 c. whole bran cereal
1/2 c. raisins
2 eggs, beaten
2 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. oil
2 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. maple syrup
2 1/2 c. flour

Directions:
Bring water to a boil. In a large bowl, mix bran and raisins with water. Set aside to cool. Add eggs, buttermilk, and oil, then blend well. Stir baking soda, salt, sugar, maple syrup, and flour together. Mix with bran mix. Bake at 425° for 20 minutes (or until toothpick comes out clean).
Tip: This dough can be refrigerated for up to two weeks!
