Ingredients:

1 c. maple syrup

2 egg whites

pinch of salt

Directions:

Boil syrup until it forms a soft ball, or until it reaches 238°. Beat egg whites until stiff, then slowly pour into syrup. Continue to beat the mixture and add salt. Beat the frosting until it holds its shape, then spread on cooled cake.
