Ingredients:

1/2 c. honey
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 egg
2 1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt 
1/2 c. walnuts

Directions:

Blend together honey, sugar, shortening, and egg. Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt, then add to honey mixture. Add nuts. Shape into a loaf and wrap with waxed paper. Chill for 1-2 days. Slice and bake on greased cookie sheet at 400° for 10-12 minutes.
