Ingredients:
1 c. whole milk
2 oz. (2 squares) semisweet or bittersweet chocolate
1 tsp. maple syrup

Directions:
Heat milk and chocolate in a double boiler over simmering water until the chocolate is melted and well incorporated. Do not boil. Remove from heat, stir in maple syrup, and pour into mug. Top with whipped cream if desired. Yields one large or 2 small cups.
