Ingredients:

1 c. dried, shelled nuts or seeds

1 tsp. maple syrup

Directions:

Grind the nuts or seeds into a paste using either a mortar and pestle or a blender. Add the tsp. of maple syrup, or more as needed. Keep covered and refrigerated to retain freshness and flavor.

 

Tip: This is an excellent nutritious topping on breads and cakes! Nut butters are very rich in taste.
