Ingredients:

Pudding

2 c. all-purpose flour

4 tsp. baking powder

1 tsp. salt

4 Tbs. butter

3/4 c. milk

 

Sauce

1 c. maple syrup

pinch of salt

1/2 c. water

2 tsp. cornstarch

Directions:

Sift flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in butter, then use a pastry blender. Promptly add liquid, and handle as little as possible. Roll out 1/2 in. thick, butter lightly, and sprinkle on sugar. Roll up into a log shape. Cut log into slices 3/4 in. thick and arrange in a baking pan. Mix sauce ingredients and pour over the slices in the baking pan. Bake at 325° for 20-25 minutes.
